How to Give Access to Your Social Media Accounts

One of the first steps in working with a social media manager is giving them access to your social media accounts.


Rather than handing your passwords over, the best way to give access to your accounts is through Meta Business Suite. Meta Business Suite is a mobile and desktop app that enables you to link all of your Facebook and Instagram accounts, so you can manage your content, ads, customer communications and page access all in one place. You will need to have a Facebook business page or an Instagram business account.



  1. Go to https://business.facebook.com/


  2. Click the dropdown just under the Home button and select the business profile. If you don’t have one set up click Create Business Profile


  3. In the profiles section, click “See all Business Settings”


  4. In the Accounts section on the left sidebar, go through the submenu and make sure all applicable business assets are added to your business portfolio.


  5. In the Users section on the left side bar, click People.


  6. Click the blue "Invite People" button


  7. Enter bozemanmarketingco@gmail.com


  8. Click next on the assign access page


  9. Select the business assets you are giving access to and turn the toggle on for Full Access (business tools and Facebook). We understand that giving full access can be nerve-wracking, but unfortunately, this is the only way for us to be able to connect your pages with our social media scheduling and approval tools.


  10. Click next and then send invitation
